LAC2010 heeft een diepgravende inventarisatie gemaakt van de internationale landschapsarcheologie in de eenentwintigste eeuw. Op welke schaal vindt interdisciplinair landschapsonderzoek plaats en waar bestaan nog lacunes in onderzoeksrichtingen? Het huidige onderzoek binnen de landschapsarcheologie is te onderscheiden in processueel onderzoek en postprocessueel onderzoek, wat voorkomt uit een verschillende definitie van het woord 'landschap': de 'gebieds'-definitie en de 'perceptuele' definitie . Hoe zal de landschapsarcheologie zich in de toekomst ontwikkelen?<br />- Sjoerd Kluiving is Universitair Docent in de Fysische Geografie bij het Instituut voor Geo- en Bioarcheologie aan de Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam, en is initiator en organisator van de 1e internationale landschapsarcheologie conferentie LAC2010.<br />- Erika Guttmann-Bond is hoofddocent aan de Faculteit der Archeologie, geschiedenis en antropologie aan de Universiteit van Wales Trinity Saint David in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en tevens als hoogleraar Landschapsarcheologie verbonden aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam",
