With the help of detailed case studies of the EU\u2019s CSDP operations in Macedonia, Bosnia and the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as the first detailed analysis of the EU\u2019s relations with the Standby High Readiness Brigade for United Nations Operations (SHIRBRIG), this study provides a thorough assessment of the integrative as well as adverse impacts of the EU\u2019s approach to EU-NATO and EU-UN \u2018effective multilateralism\u2019.\r\n</br></br>\r\nThis book will provide a valuable resource for graduate students, academics and practitioners interested in the EU as an International Actor, \u2018effective multilateralism\u2019 and the growing phenomenon of inter-organisational relations.\r\n</br></br>\r\nJoachim A.
